Domaine Masse’s Rully 1er Cru Les Deux Terres Blanc 2022 ranks as one of the best value fine white Burgundies from this outstanding vintage. Crafted by Fabrice from his well-sited, old vine Chardonnay, his customary attention to detail paid off handsomely in this challenging, but brilliant year. Ripe, rounded and full, it remains elegant and poised and displays Rully’s signature smoky minerality and lovely floral notes. It is offerings like this that have seen demand for Domaine Masse’s wines soar in recent years.

Taste
White gold with green flecks, the nose is delightfully floral with honeysuckle and elderflower overlaying fruit tones of citrus, red apple, and white peach. Impressively intense, this medium-bodied wine’s palate is loaded with white plums, melons, lemons, and pears with a backdrop of crushed nuts, minerals, and peach stones. At this stage, this is a wine to serve with fine seafood, game birds such as pheasant or guinea fowl, or roasted green vegetables. Give it a year or so and it will make a magnificent solo sipper too.
About the Producer
Domaine Masse is a tiny, family-owned and run domaine based in the sleepy hamlet of Theurey which lies above the village of Givry. With origins dating back to 1595, Domaine Masse is part of the fabric of Burgundy. Since 2000 it has been in the talented hands of Fabrice Masse who has introduced modern sustainable viticultural methods alongside traditional winemaking techniques. Their 15 hectares of vines have been accredited with High Environmental Value and provide the fruit for a range of outstanding, yet very well-priced red and white Burgundies.

TastingBOX
The TastingBOX is delivered free of charge by UK Royal Mail Tracked 48hr to UK addresses only.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
We advise contacting our Customers Services team before making any claim to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.
Advent Calendars - Due to the made-to-order nature of our Advent Calendars, they are not eligible for a full refund. However, we reserve the right to issue a refund in the form of store credit.
