The Domaine Camille Lucienne Macon-Villages 2022 was a triumph. The 2022 vintage was splendid and the team overcame the year’s challenges to produce a top-flight affordable white Burgundy. In a year that kept all Burgundy’s vignerons on their toes, Domaine Camille Lucienne had the added complication of having their vines in the process of converting to organic certification. By utilising a combination of traditional, natural methods in the vineyard alongside state-of-the art winemaking techniques they produced wines that are crisp, full-flavoured and wonderfully expressive of their vineyards and aged Chardonnay vines.

Taste
Having been destemmed and fermented in stainless steel, there’s a delightful crispness and purity to the Domaine Camille Lucienne Macon-Villages 2022. The bouquet is dominated by citrus fruits, green apples, and white blossoms. On the palate it’s clean, vibrant, and precise, with lemon, grapefruit and quince softened by flavours of peach, melon and just a touch of yeast. Drink this lightly chilled as an aperitif or with delicate sea fish, seafood, or green salads.
About the Producer
Domaine Camille Lucienne is one of the finest grower producers in all of Macon. Located in the sleepy town of Bissy La Maconnaise, its ultra-modern (inside and out) winery towers above the vines and makes quite a statement. But then so do Karine and Jean-Christophe’s wines. This old, family-owned and run domaine could have ticked over very nicely producing traditionally styled wines like it’s neighbours, but that wasn’t enough for them. The new generation wanted to produce wines in harmony with nature, ones that didn’t just have a taste of place but which were a direction reflection of their vineyards special terroir.

The TastingBOX is delivered free of charge by UK Royal Mail Tracked 48hr to UK addresses only.
As indicated in our Quality Promise we will happily refund or exchange any faulty bottles. All we ask is the bottles in question are returned to us at least half full for verification purposes. If a bottle is broken on delivery we will also replace or refund it but we do require photographic evidence of the breakage. Equally we can arrange for the bottles to be collected the next time you receive a delivery from us.
Should we be unable to fulfil any part, or all of an order, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will suggest comparable substitutions. You are free to refuse these suggestions and are eligible for a full refund of relevant parts of the order.
In all instances, Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) must be informed of any claim within 24 hours of receipt of delivery by email or telephone. All refunds will be issued after we have received and approved the faulty items and the amount will be re-credited to your account within 30 days. The amount refunded will be equal to the full amount paid for the relevant products at the time of purchase and must be made by the same payment method as the original sale.
If you choose to cancel your contract of sale with Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) you may do so within 30 days of receipt of the goods. If the goods have already been dispatched they must be returned to us unopened and undamaged, and Perfect Cellar (Beyond the Bottle Ltd) will not be liable for any costs associated with the original or return delivery.
No refund can be given when a case has left bond as the value will be affected. Individual bottles of Fine Wine will be considered for refund on a case-by-case basis.
