Frequently asked questions
How many servings will I receive? The 3 TastingBOX has 3 servings, 1 of each wine, and the 6 TastingBOX has 2 servings of each wine.
What size are the servings? Each serving is 100ml.
Why is each serving 100ml? Legally, the government only allows us to ship wine in quantities up to 100ml per serving or in significantly larger sizes.
Why can't the servIng be larger? If we were to ship in larger serving sizes, the TastingBOX would not fit through the letterbox nor would it be able to be posted via Royal Mail. Instead, it would have to be delivered by courier and attract significantly larger shipping costs.
What if I order additional wines at the same time? Your TastingBOX will be delivered by Royal Mail and will fit through a standard sized letterbox, any additional wines ordered will be sent via Parcelforce at no additional cost and you will receive these within 2-5 working days.
When will I be billed? After your first TastingBOX you will be billed every quarter, from the next payable quarter. You should expect to receive your TastingBOX within 2-5 days of the 15th of the last month of every quarter (March, June, September & December).
The Wines
Lauverjat Moulin des Vrilleres Sancerre Rouge 2022
Aged for 10 months in Oak barrels and released for sale 12 months after harvest, this Sancerre has had time to develop its complex and balanced flavours and a beautiful ruby colour. This wine displays aromas of strong ripe red berries with tones of cherry in particular, whilst the palate experiences intense aromas and a finish both fresh and crisp. The concentrated palate, ample and harmonious, prolongs the complexity of aromas and supple tannins, and leads to a persistent finale which leaves you with the feeling of great freshness.
Domaine Decelle & Fils Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2022
From several selected parcels throughout Burgundy, the Bourgogne Rouge cuvée from Domaine Decelle & Fils is primarily composed of plots from "small villages" such as Mercurey, Ladoix-Serrigny, and Savigny. More than just your average, entry Bourgogne rouge, complex and approachable.
Cuvaison Estate Grown Pinot Noir 2021
92 Points - James Suckling. Located in the heart of Los Carneros, Napa Valley, summer temperatures are tempered by the cooling fog rolling in off the nearby San Pablo Bay, providing perfect conditions for producing beautifully balanced and complex wines that showcase the vineyard-driven character of this cool-climate estate. 10 months in French oak barrels (33% new) gives this Pinot Noir a spectrum of bright red and black fruits, notes of lilac and ginger weave into the fresh berry, cherry and plum notes with a hint of sandalwood and allspice.
